Boone County Deputy Jacob Pickett and Terre Haute police Officer Rob Pitts will be added to the walls at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

Pickett was fatally shot in March, and Pitts was fatally wounded in May after exchanging gunfire with a homicide suspect.

Proceeds from the sale of the bear, which are being sold by America Going Blue, will help pay for the Pickett and Pitts family trips, WXIN reported.

In order to receive the bears -- which feature the officers’ names and their department badges -- a donation of $25 or more must be made, the television station reported.
