Suspicious package blocks Northside Drive

Firefighters and police were investigating a suspicious package Monday afternoon on Northside Drive in northwest Atlanta.

The package was reported at 1570 Northside Drive near the intersection with Deering Road. A southbound lane was blocked due to emergency vehicles, Channel 2 Action News reported.
