The suspicious package that Atlanta police officers were investigating Sunday at Atlantic Station turned out to be a shoe box inside a Target bag.

Police restricted the area around 18th Street after a suspicious package call, Officer John Chafee said.

The area was re-opened after about an hour, he said.

Yasmin Yasin works at the Style Shoppe in Atlantic Station. She said she believed the package was found near The Gap.

“There’s all these police cars and bomb squad cars over here,” she said. “It’s a big ordeal.”

Yasin said that police told everybody to park on the lower level of the parking garage.
