A man is wanted by LaGrange police after a shooting at a motel Wednesday morning.
About 8 a.m., officers found the gunshot victim in a room at the Quality Inn off Jameson Drive, police said in a news release. Sgt. Robert Kirby told AJC.com that the injured person, Timothy Barnes, is stable at an Atlanta area hospital after being shot in the shoulder.
Investigators said Shannon Lamar Scott, 42, is wanted on an aggravated assault charge in connection with the shooting, the release said. Police described him as 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds. Scott was last seen in a light-colored Chevrolet truck with an Alabama tag.
