DeKalb County sheriff’s investigators need your help finding a man they suspect was involved in a fatal shooting last month in Decatur.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Demetrius Eugene Carter in connection with the Aug. 16 shooting death of Kevin Antonio Barnes on Quincy Lane, DeKalb sheriff’s spokeswoman Cynthia Williams said Wednesday in an emailed statement.

Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information about Carter’s whereabouts is asked to call the DeKalb sheriff’s office at 404-298-8200.
