A suspect has been arrested and charged with murder for allegedly throwing a man from a 5th floor balcony of an apartment building in Dunwoody.

Barrett Wade Ricks, 24, was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in the death of Isaac C. Herrington, 31, who was found outside a Dunwoody apartment complex, according to police.

Officers were called shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday to the Axis at Perimeter Apartments, where they located Herrington, police said.

According to a release from the Dunwoody Police Department, Ricks threw Harrington from a fifth-floor balcony at the complex and was arrested Wednesday afternoon and booked into the DeKalb County jail. Ricks lived at the complex, address records show.
