Georgia’s largest regional event for science learning — the Gwinnett County Regional Science and Engineering Fair — has attracted a record number of students this year. The fair, celebrating its 35th year, takes place Friday and will involve more than 1,000 students from Gwinnett County Public Schools and Buford City Schools. The fair will be held at the Gwinnett Center, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth. Visitors are welcome to attend the open house, which begins at 4 p.m. The awards ceremony is at 7:30 p.m.
