The Clean Air Campaign is calling on Georgia students to lead the way for cleaner air by participating in the third annual Young Lungs at Work art competition. Guided by the theme “Leading the Way for Clean Air,” K-8 students are can create authentic comic strips to illustrate the positive impact that riding the bus, turning off an idling car engine or carpooling can have on Georgia’s air quality. Comic strip and T-shirt contest submissions must be postmarked by March 8. A panel of judges will select first, second and third place winners, along with any honorable mentions. Winners will be announced in early April. Entries can be submitted by email to schools@cleanaircampaign.org or by mail to The Clean Air Campaign, Young Lungs at Work Art Competition, 55 Park Place, Suite 250, Atlanta 30303.
