Adult film star Stormy Daniels spoke to Anderson Cooper on '60 Minutes' about her alleged affair with President Donald Trump.

The left says the problem with the scandal isn’t about the sex. A roundup of articles takes a look at the issue:

1. The Stormy Daniels scandal is not about sex - it's about threats, bribes and silence

From The Globe and Mail: "But what we do know is that there are very troubling allegations of Mr. Trump and his lawyers threatening those who talk about it. When Ms. Daniels says she feared for her safety, take it seriously – and consider who may be scared into silence."

2. Stormy Daniels on '60 minutes' makes Donald Trump's legal problems even worse

From USA TODAY: "Finally, there is the biggest though most unknowable risk of all: that somehow the Stormy scandal will impact special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation."

3. All the President's Thugs

From The New York Times: "We live at a time when a porn star displays more credibility and class than a president, his lawyers distinguish themselves through swagger more than legal skill, and we seriously wonder just how thuggish the man in the Oval Office is. It seems like a bad dream."
