The fast-growing Sprouts Farmers Market chain will open a store in Roswell later this summer. The company said the new location, its seventh in Georgia, will throw open the doors at 7 a.m. Aug 5 at 10800 Alpharetta Highway. It's one of eight new stores the company plans to open nationwide in the third quarter of the year.

The company said it's hiring about 100 full and part-time members for the new, 28,000 square-foot location, in positions ranging from department managers to clerks to cashiers. Prospective employees can learn more at sprouts.com/careers. The company's website describes it as a neighborhood grocery store with the feel of an old-fashioned farmers market. Staples include farm-fresh produce, natural meats and nuts, grains and sweets in bulk. Sprouts is headquartered in Phoenix and had about 200 locations in 13 states as of April.
