A Smyrna woman was one of three people killed in a murder-suicide that left three people dead in Maryland on Friday, the Associated Press reports.

Prince George’s County police said Zonita Roberts, 42, of Smyrna, and Angela Johnson, 43, of Oxon Hill, Maryland, were both fatally wounded by Johnson’s estranged husband Leroy Johnson, 45,who then shot and fatally wounded himself.

Police were called to the home where the shooting took place around 4:40 p.m. Friday. Officers forced their way into the home and found one woman dead and a woman and a man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the AP. The surviving victims were taken to a hospital, where they died.

According to the AP, police say a preliminary investigation indicates that Leroy Johnson shot both his wife and Roberts and then shot himself. Police described Roberts as an acquaintance of Angela Johnson
