Two men were found shot to death inside a car Wednesday afternoon in southwest Atlanta.

Police responded to a report of shots fired around 2:30 p.m. at a home in the 3600 block of Asbury Lane, near Fairburn Road, according to Lt. Paul Guerrucci with Atlanta police.

Officers arrived to find the two men dead in a vehicle, Guerrucci said. Both had been shot multiple times, he said.

A third person transported himself to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the hand, Guerrucci said.

Investigators were working to determine a motive and identify suspects late Wednesday.
