While many racers at the Peachtree Road Race drive an hour or two, Andrea and Marlin Meachem drove over 12 hours from Philadelphia to be a part of this Atlanta tradition.

Andrea said the race was really nice despite the hills, but Marlin had to drop out at mile two due to his Achilles tendinitis.

”I decided to get a couple miles and be a part of the tradition,” Marlin said. “And we’ll maybe continue to come every year.”
