The Roswell Department of Transportation kicked off construction this week on a project upgrading Eves Road from Holcomb Bridge to Riverside roads.

It’s billed as a “complete street” project improving mobility for all users — from motorists to bicyclists to pedestrians. The improvements will include on-street bicycle lanes, a multi-use path, upgraded sidewalks and a new driveway accessing East Roswell Park.

The $2.1 million project is being constructed by Vertical Earth Inc. and is expected to finish by June of 2015, weather permitting
