According to St. Louis media reports, two people have been killed and one is injured after an explosion at a recycling plant in Granite City, Illinois.

KTVI-TV reports a mortar shell exploded at the Totall Metal Recycling plant and no one is able to get close to the bodies or the scene for fear of more explosions.

A bomb squad was headed to the scene. The injuried person has been taken to a local hospital but there was initially no word on the extent of that person’s injuries.

According to their website, Totall Metal Recycling employees over 160 people throughout six departments.

No other details were immediately available.
