Sandy Springs police pulled over an Illinois man who they say was hauling almost seven pounds of marijuana, Channel 2 Action News reported Friday.

Nigel Hickman, of Alton, was arrested Thursday and booked into the Fulton County jail. He is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, according to jail records.

The U.S. Postal Service was notified that Hickman would be picking up a package that contained the drugs, Channel 2 said.

He was pulled over on Roswell Road, and officers said they found nearly seven pounds of pot.
