Concertgoers headed to the Shaky Knees Festival at Atlantic Station today face some potential showers but also a bit cooler temperatures, according to the latest forecast from the Channel 2 Severe Weather Team.

Scattered showers are expected across the metro area today with the chance of rain at 60 percent and a high temp of 78 degrees.

But the storm clouds should yield to sunshine on Mother’s Day. There is a 20 percent chance of rain on Sunday with a high of 83 degrees. A slight chance of rain remains Monday and Tuesday,with highs in the mid-80s.

More rain could be headed our way Wednesday, along with slightly cooler temperatures.
