Alpharetta will host a public information open house Wednesday on planned sidewalk and intersection improvements at Ga. 9 and Vaughn Drive. The session will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Engineering and Public Works Building, 1790 Hembree Road. There will be no formal presentation, and the public can attend anytime during these hours.

The project will provide a left-turn lane for businesses near the intersection. It will also provide sidewalk connection from the Vaughn Drive intersection south to the existing sidewalk near Canton Street Extension.
