A woman found Sunday in Henry County died of natural causes, police said Tuesday.

The body of Robin Lynn Hubbard was found Sunday afternoon in a wooded area at the I-75 southbound entrance ramp at Hwy. 138. Homeless people are known to sleep in the area, and police said at the time that Hubbard’s death may have been due to a medical condition or weather conditions.

Tuesday, Sgt. Joey Smith said Hubbard’s “death was due to complications from a medical issue and not from the elements.”

Family in the McDonough area identified Hubbard, police said.

“The family of Ms. Hubbard … advised that they did not wish to speak to media,” Smith said.
