If you’ve been through the drive-thru window of a Roswell Taco Bell — and paid with a credit card — you may want to check your statement, police said Thursday.

A former employee was allegedly stealing customers' information by telling them the register wasn't working, so she couldn't simply swipe the card, Roswell police said. The worker also asked for the three-digit security code, and at least one customer provided it, police said in a Facebook post.

“A customer alerted us after receiving fraudulent charges that appeared on her credit card statement,” police said.

Rosetta Louise Brinson, of Atlanta, was arrested March 11 and charged with identity theft. She was being held Thursday on $40,000 bond, records showed. But police believe there could be additional victims.

Anyone who has gone to the Taco Bell at 915 Holcomb Bridge Road during the month of February and March is asked to check their credit card statements and file a police report if you see any false purchases.
