Atlanta police are still looking for suspects and a motive in connection with a homicide in Oakland Park Sunday.

Police responded to the park about 2:30 p.m. and found Frances Jamaal Edmonds, 21, of Atlanta, who had been shot multiple times, according to an incident report. One of the gunshot wounds was to his head, but he was conscious and alert when he was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. He died about 5:30 p.m. from his injuries.

Police interviewed a friend of Edmonds, but that person did not provide much information about the shooting, according to the report.

The investigation is still active. Anyone with information about the shooting should call Atlanta police.
