An investigation into a deadly double shooting at a Stockbridge apartment complex remains “very active” more than a week after the victims were discovered, according to Henry County police.

Officers responded to the St. Ives apartment complex Sept. 12 just before 3 a.m., Henry police spokesman Capt. Randy Lee said. At the scene, police found two people dead from gunshot wounds.

Lee said detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting and the police department would not release any other details as the case remains active. He did not share the identities of the victims.
