Atlanta police have released a new photo of Deion Patterson, the suspect in a shooting Wednesday that killed one person and injured four others in Midtown.
The 24-year-old is the subject of a massive manhunt that has brought heavy police presence into the center of Atlanta and has the entire city on edge. He is considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
Police have said they have no information indicating Patterson is still in the area, and a shelter in place advisory has been lifted. They are still asking the public to stay away while the investigation at the Northside Hospital Midtown medical office building remains active.
