Gainesville police are searching for a man accused of robbing a Walgreens store at gunpoint, according to a Facebook post.

The suspect walked into the store on South Enota Drive just before 11 p.m. on Dec. 30, demanded money from the employees and brandished his gun, officials said.

He left the store with an unknown amount of money, according to police. They believe he got in a car parked at a nearby business and drove away.

Police said a customer was at the pharmacy drive-thru window at the time of the robbery. That person may have information that can help police identify the suspect.
