Ben Padgett, 32, was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence, according to the Naples Police Department.

Police said they were called to the restaurant because a man was "causing a disturbance" outside the building. The caller said the man was asking patrons for money and yelling expletives, the Miami Herald reported.

According to the arrest report, Padgett would not stop "muttering obscenities" and was arrested for disorderly intoxication, the newspaper reported. Officers gave Padgett a paper towel to wipe the food off his face, according to the Herald.

After police arrested Padgett and put him in the back of a police squad car, the man began smashing his forehead onto the metal cage of the car's partition, WBBH reported.
