The company is kicking off Adventure Week Thursday. It’s an in-game celebration “to honor the memories created so far" and the "collective journey yet to come.”

The festivities are set to begin Thursday, May 18 at 1 p.m. PDT and wrap on Thursday, May 25 at 1 p.m. PDT.

What do people have to look forward to?

Its 65 million players can expect more items at Pokestops and more rock-type Pokemon, including Aerodactyl, Onix and Sudowoodo. Users will also have adventurer’s hats for all of their characters, and their Buddy Pokemon will receive four times as much candy.

While these bonuses are temporary, organizers are encouraging fans to document their journey with the Pokemon GO AR camera and on social media using #PokemonGO!
