Vigil after Carroll County school bus crash

Tonya Gray comforts her daughter Kelly, who was a friend of "Ray Ray" (James Rashawn Walker) and attends the same vocational school. She was on a different bus the day of the crash.

James Rashawn "Ray Ray" Walker, 17, died in the crash on Monday when a bus from Temple High School, on its way to a nearby vocational school, went off the right side of Highway 113, across a driveway, into a culvert and then into a ditch at the church.

Lanell Burt places flowers at the site of the crash. She also baked some pies for the family of James Rashawn Walker and wanted to know where she could leave them.

A wooden cross, two tiki torches and bouquets of flowers marked the spot where a bus from Temple High School, on its way to a nearby vocational school, went off the right side of Highway 113, across a driveway, into a culvert and then into a ditch. The crash killed James Rashawn Walker, 17, who played on Temple High's football team, and injured 13 others.
