My Style: Michelle Perrucci

MICHELLE PERRUCCI of Smyrna, 27, is a shapewear designer for Spanx.

SIGNATURE STYLE: "Eclectic minimalist."

WHAT SHE'S WEARING: A black satin and lace mini cocktail dress with a bow strap of her own design. Earrings are from Charlotte Russe and slate suede boots are from Bakers.

STAND-OUT FASHION MOMENT: "In 2004. I graduated from college and on our fashion show night, I loved my outfit. It was an ivory strapless dress with big brown leaves on it. It was very flowing and came just below my knee. My shoes were strappy and they had stones twisting up the heel and the sole was cushioned." Here she stands in the design room in her condo.

A WEAKNESS: "I am not one of those girls that has to buy heels all the time, but I do find myself drawn to them. I have quite a few pairs of heels I have never worn, but I have them because I feel I might need a pink pair or something." Some of the brands include Steve Madden, BCB Girls, Bamboo, Prediction and Fioni.

FAVORITE STORES: "Francesca's Collection. I'm a sucker for places like H&M and Forever 21." Here she wears a strapless khaki H&M top with corset boning and Bermuda jeans. The multi-strand necklace is from Forever 21.

PERRUCCI SAYS she enjoys wearing fun costume jewelry, including these gold necklaces.

PERRUCCI'S jewelry collection includes asymmetrical earrings by Betsey Johnson (top) and long dangly earrings from Charlotte Russe (center).

BEST FIND: "I got a pair of skinny jeans [shown] that fit so well, I wish I had bought three of them. They cost $7. The first time I started wearing them people said, 'They fit you like a glove.' Months later, I went to Macy's and they were on the rack for $30."

BIGGEST SPLURGE: "I was in Milan, and that is probably the reason I bought two dresses; one by an Italian designer and the other by Theory. They were expensive, but the exchange rate made it double." She purchased this cotton-and-mesh bubble halter in France.

ATLANTA STYLE IS: "Very relaxed. Very laid-back and simple."

FAVORITE LABELS: "One that stuck with me for quite a while was Diane Von Furstenberg." This Diane Von Furstenberg signature wrap dress is worn with diamond hoop earrings and black suede peep-toe slingback heels by BCBGirls.

FASHION PET PEEVE: "VPL [visible panty lines] and bad shoes."
