The Dixie Highway Yard Sale was held Saturday on a 90-mile stretch of U.S. Highway 41 between Ringgold, Ga., and Marietta.

The sale commemorates a time before I-75, when U.S. 41 was known as the Dixie Highway and was a main corridor for tourists driving South from the Midwest to Florida and was lined with souvenir stands.

The traffic was heavy and there was a wide range of stuff for sale. A brownie camera offered by John Alewine is pictured.
