Bridgewater at Mount Zion

Bridgewater at Mount Zion is an apartment community located in Stockbridge.

Head's unit features a vaulted ceiling in the living room, a sun room, dining room and patio. "There's so much to love about Bridgewater. I wouldn't pay for anything I didn't like and I would have moved out if it hadn't been up to my standards," said Head as she added that she has no plans to move. (Interior photos are of model unit.)

"You get a lot of space for your money," said DeAnn Head of her apartment at Bridgewater at Mt. Zion in Stockbridge. Head, 27, works in customer service and found her apartment by driving around. The location was perfect, the leasing agent was a sweetheart and she thought the apartments were really classy.

Head was looking for a apartment near her children's school on Mt. Zion Road so Bridgewater's location was perfect. "Regardless of whether you go left out of the driveway or right, everything you want is right here," said Head, and she listed the restaurants and stores like Lowe's and Wal-Mart in one direction and Target and Publix in the other. "Everything's within a five-mile range," she added.

Head rented a three-bedroom apartment. Two bedrooms are on one side. Each has a walk-in closet and they share a bathroom. On the other side, the master bedroom has a large walk-in closet which Head loves. "I fill it just fine," she laughed. The master bath features its own linen closet which is a feature she also loves.

Another feature the Head family uses is the gym. DeAnn likes to work out there and she says the mirrors all over the gym keep her motivated. The kids use the pool, and Head points out the picnic tables, wash house and shower that are nearby. The management of the gated community holds resident appreciation events including pool parties and providing snacks for the neighbors.

The apartment's kitchen is spacious and is home for the washer and dryer as well. The patio is big enough to comfortably hold a table and chairs. Her apartment also comes with a garage, so Head just walks directly from the garage into her apartment.

Head's kids enjoy the community playground. Head likes it because it sits up high on a hill so the location is quiet and secluded. There's a pond on the property and the family enjoys the ducks and the geese that live there. Head finds the area perfect for taking her exercise walks. The community also features tennis courts and a car wash.
