Atlanta chef Virginia Willis, who is getting notice across the country for her cookbook, "Bon Appetit, Y'all" threw a fish fry recently at her home in Decatur. Our photographer tagged along to see what was on the menu.

Would you like some cake? Chef Virginia Willis carries a poundcake made with a recipe from her her mother. Willis' new cookbook, "Bon Appetit, Y'all" is subtitled "Recipes and Stories from Three Generations of Southern Cooking."

A dish of classic cole slaw was also on the menu. The dishes served at Willis' party are from her new cookbook.

Willis prepared deviled eggs for her guests with spicy pickled okra and white truffle turnips.
