King family members were among those laying a memorial wreath on the tomb of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, on the 48th anniversary of his assassination. This followed a ceremony awarding the Martin Luther King Jr. Nonviolent Peace Prize to Morris Dees, co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
