Odds are someone is betting right now on Trump’s mugshot

Will former President Donald Trump show up in a MAGA hat when he reports to the Fulton County Jail on Thursday? What color will his tie be? The sheriff says he’ll be treated like any other detainee, meaning he’ll have his fingerprints and mugshot taken.

So, will he be smiling in that booking photo?

Entrepreneurial oddsmakers are offering online prop bets ahead of Trump’s surrender on charges he orchestrated a sweeping “criminal enterprise” to overturn the former his 2020 defeat in Georgia. Some of his codefendants have begun turning themselves in.

The site BetOnline is dealing only in facts. As the world waits for what could be the first-ever presidential mug shot, the betting site is letting gamblers lay odds on all sorts of stats, including Trump’s weight at booking. The site Bovada is taking bets on whether the former president will be handcuffed and what sorts of phrases he’ll post on Truth Social after his arraignment. “Marxist Left,” “Perfect Phone Call” and “Fake Indictment” are among the choices.
