WILLIAMS, Adlia A.

Adlia A. Williams passed away December, 29, 2020 @ Pruitt Health Care, Griffin, GA 30224. Services are entrusted to Haisten McCullough and funeral Home.

Adlia was born December 8, 1952 in Atlanta, GA the son of the late Bennie Williams and late Mary A. Williams. He also preceded in by death by Wife Elaine-Scott James, brothers, Eddie Lee, Charles, Sister Jennifer, daughter Angie James. Adlia was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist church. As a child and throughout his adolescence years his parents nurtured him in the 7th day Adventist faith. He attended and is a graduate of Booker T. High school of Atlanta, GA, {1970} He had a brief stay in the U.S. Navy, and later attended Morehouse College, where he studied architectural Engineer and was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He is quietly known to be the jack of all trades and mastered them all. He worked well with his hands. Enjoyed an extension career with Anning- Johnson Company, a superintendent who oversaw multi assignment including the oversight of the construction of the new wing added to Hartsfield – Jackson Airport. He was an avid mechanic, portrait artist, and could make your favorite dish from scratch.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew him and most of all by those who love and survive him, wife Wanda Williams, Daughter Dawn {Husband} Sabrina, Amanda {Tunna}, Cheseree {Husband} Chezzie, DeAdla {Wife}, Nephew, Eddie Jr and Joel, Niece Sumdai and host of grandchildren, great grands, nephew, nieces and friends.

Private graveside services will be conducted in Westview Cemetery.
