SAPPENFIELD, Billie Jo
Billie Jo Sappenfield 79, passed away peacefully on October 18. She was truly a genuine person with a heart of gold and smile that lit up the room. She went to Truett McConnell and then graduated from Shorter University. She cherished being a teacher to help make an impact. She enjoyed time with her family - camping, annual beach trips, playing games and just being there for her loved ones at all times. She loved watching the Braves and especially being a proud grandma of her 2 grandsons. Her 55 year anniversary with her husband Ron would have been this October 29. She will be dearly missed however comforted that she is now with our Heavenly Father. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 20 from 5-7 PM. She is survived by: husband, Ron Sappenfield of Canton; son, Brad Sappenfield of Memphis, TN; daughter, Ronda (Lenwood) Bowers of Woodstock; daughter, Stacy (Scott) Ballantyne of Salt Lake City, UT; brother, Stanley Cox of Smyrna; grandchildren, Obie Bowers, Lawton Bowers. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sappenfield family.
