FLETCHER, Martha Jean
Martha Jean Fletcher passed away on October 21, 2023, following a brief illness.
Martha was born in Montgomery, AL, on March 12, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelle Sullivan Fletcher and Philip W. Fletcher Jr. Martha attended Sidney Lanier High School and graduated from Auburn University, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority.
Martha's career path included residing in Dallas, TX, New York, NY, and finally in Atlanta, GA, for forty years.
She is survived by her brother, Philip W. Fletcher III (Dorrie); sister, Gail Fletcher Crosby (David); nieces, Casey Fletcher Hutchings, Martha Crosby, and Caroline Fletcher; and stepson, Brent Korsower; cousin, Charlotte Taylor; sister-in-law, Peggy Braungart Fletcher; longtime friend, Bobbi Couch; and her beloved companion, Clarence "Babe" Taylor.
Martha will be remembered for her love of life, her exquisite style, enthusiasm for world travel, and her compassion for countless close friends with whom she loved to entertain with gourmet meals.
Here's to a life well lived.
