CADORA, Deborah
Deborah Grace Davidson Cadora, 73, died Thursday, September 16, 2021, in her home in Gainesville, suddenly from complications related to ongoing medical conditions. She is survived by her husband, Ron Cadora, son Clayton Davidson, daughter Adrienne Van Curen, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Davidson, Jr., who died earlier this year. Debbie was born in Glen Cove, New York on August 7, 1948, to parents Winifred and Robert Winter. She grew up in Michigan with her two younger brothers, Robert Winter, Jr. and Richard Winter. She went on to attend the University of Michigan for college where she majored in Economics. She later moved to Oakwood, Georgia with her three children in 1985 and married Ron Cadora in 1994. She worked as a computer programmer until she retired. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bridge with her husband, and she was ranked a Diamond Life Master by the ACBL. Debbie was well known for her cheerful retelling (and retelling) of funny family anecdotes and could be frequently seen walking with her dog, Pandy, around her neighborhood. Her family lovingly remembered time spent with Debbie in the mountains of northeast Georgia last weekend in a private memorial.
