ALEXANDER, Jr., Steve
Steve Eustratios Alexander Jr. (61) passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 9 with his family by his side. Steve was born in Atlanta on November 9, 1959 to Steve Alexander Sr. and Lula P. Alexander. He was the youngest of three siblings. He grew up in Atlanta, graduated from Lakeside High School in 1977, and went on to earn a Business Management bachelors from Georgia Tech and a Risk Management masters from Georgia State. He later married his high school sweetheart, Debra Galloway, and had three sons, Steve III, Nicholas, and Michael. Throughout his life, Steve was always close to the church, and held his faith above everything else. His servant leadership, oversight, and participation, were an example to many in the community. Professionally, he worked the majority of his career in the insurance and risk management field. As a father, he coached his sons and their friends in every sport they played, and made a lifelong impact on many.
Steve was a precious gift to us all and will be deeply missed forever. He stood up in the storms, his heart was clear, and he always sought to master himself before others. He is survived by his wife, Debra, his three sons, Steve III, Nicholas, and Michael, his mother, Lula P. Alexander, his two sisters, Terri Smith and Marianne Beverly, cousins, nieces, nephews, and god children. Visitation will be held at A.S.
