Nude woman’s body found in English Avenue area
Atlanta Police investigated the scene after a nude woman was found dead in the English Avenue area by an officer on July 15, 2014.

July 15, 2014A nude woman’s body was found Tuesday afternoon in the English Avenue area by an officer on patrol.
So far the death is a mystery. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
“No obvious signs of foul play, but we can’t rule out anything,” said Capt. Paul Guerrucci, homicide commander for the Atlanta Police Department. “There is a possibility that she was dumped, but it is also a possibility that she traveled down here and collapsed.”
The woman, whose age was estimated to be about 30, was found near the intersection of Vine and Meldrum streets. Anyone with information is asked to contact police, Guerrucci said.
He estimated the woman had not been there for more than a day.
