A Wisconsin jury decided a man's alibi for drunked driving was nothing more than a fish tale.
John Przybyla was pulled over in October 2014 for a broken taillight and crossing the center line, WSAW reported.
The deputy said he smelled alcohol on Przybyla's breath.
Przybyla said the smell came from the beer in the beer batter fish he had recently eaten.
A blood test showed Przybyla had a blood alcohol level of .042, above the limit with someone with multiple drunken driving offenses, WLUK reported.
This was his 10th conviction, WSAW reported.
A jury convicted Przybyla for operating a car while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license, WLUK reported.
