A toddler was critically injured after he fell out of a U-Haul truck, according to Detroit police.
WXYZ reported that authorities said a 2-year-old boy was with his grandmother when he opened the door of a U-Haul truck and fell out. He was not secured in the truck.
"The truck rolled over the child, causing injury to his arm," police said in a statement, according to The Detroit News. The incident happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The boy's grandmother took him to a hospital, where he was in critical condition, WXYZ reported.
As of Wednesday, police said the incident remained under investigation, according to MLive.
