The girl was clocked going 37 mph in a 20 mph school zone, Lordstown Police Chief Brent Milhoan told WEWS.

She pulled over as Milhoan approached, but then she drove off. Police started a pursuit until speeds reached 100 mph and the pursuit was stopped for safety reasons.

The girl was later found after she crashed into a guardrail while making a left turn, WEWS reported.

Inside the car, police found the girl’s 2-year-old and 9-month-old children. There was also another passenger, a 14-year-old boy, who had earlier been reported missing out of Cleveland.

The car had been reported as stolen. The girl said she had bought it for $50 from a man who wanted to buy drugs, WEWS reported. The girl told investigators she fled because she didn't have a driver's license.

The girl was charged with speeding, driving without a license, not wearing a seat belt, not having a booster seat, receiving stolen property, failure to comply and child endangering, WEWS reported.
