A woman in Little Rock, Arkansas, who posted a selfie showing her boyfriend in the background pointing a gun at her was found dead hours later by a roommate, authorities said.
Stephanie Hernandez on Sunday posted a picture of herself smiling on Snapchat. Her boyfriend can be seen holding a gun behind her head. Hours later, Hernandez's body was discovered by a roommate, and when police arrived, they found the home ransacked.
Rafael Gonzalez, the man with the gun in the photo, was arrested the next day and charged with first-degree murder, according to police.
According to KARK, Gonzalez pleaded not guilty to the charges on Tuesday and was given a $1 million bond.
Authorities said Gonzalez and Hernandez lived with another man and woman at the home where her body was found. A roommate said Gonzalez admitted to the crime, according to KARK.
