Police may never know how the "Batman v. Superman" cake in question looked.

However, a mother who was dissatisfied with the decorations on it drop-kicked, then stomped on it before she stormed out of a Kroger grocery store Saturday, police say, according to The Detroit Free Press.

The woman, identified by police as Tricia Ann Kortes, 46, said the cake accidentally slipped from her hands.

Here is how the cake crumbled, according to police.

The woman went behind the counter to try to fix the cake, according to the Detroit Free Press. When a bakery employee told her she could not be back there the woman went to the front of the counter and drop-kicked the cake, the employee said.

"The action caused pieces of cake and frosting to be strewn about the bakery section of the store," Bloomfield Township Police Sgt. John Weise said in a report, according to Bloomfield-Bloomfield Hills Patch. "The woman quickly left the store, kicking over a wet floor sign on her way out"

Kortes has been charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Her attorney says the situation has been blown out of proportion and that his client is seeking counseling, according to the Detroit Free Press. Kortes has a hearing on June 29. If convicted, she could face 90 days in jail and/or a $500 fine.

The Detroit Free Press reported that Kortes was also charged with disorderly conduct in 2015.
