Last week, a San Francisco woman ordered a ride from Lyft, a popular transportation network in The Golden Gate City.
At one point, the driver made a wrong turn, and the woman tried to correct him. When he didn't respond to her, she started panicking, thinking he was trying to kidnap her.
The woman jumped out of the car to run away, but broke her ankle in the process.
Police investigations later revealed that the driver wasn't trying to kidnap her. He didn't respond because he was hearing-impaired.
