An Atlanta woman revealed in a recent interview that she has a boyfriend who she breastfeeds every two hours — 20 years after she had children.
Jennifer Mulford, 36, told The Sun that she recently started an Adult Breastfeeding Relationship (ABR) with Brad Leeson, 36, a former boyfriend who she reconnected with.
“When I read about the bond breastfeeding could create between two people I was envious,” she told The Sun. “When I read about the pure joy it brought others, I was desperate to seek out a partner to share an emotional bond with.”
Mulford said she used dating websites, forums on ABR and an ad on Craigslist, but had no luck before thinking of Leeson, whom she dated in school. The Sun reports Mulford talked with Leeson, who talked about his affinity for large-breasted women, which she found to be the perfect opportunity to propose this venture.
“It was like a light switch flicked in his head. I could tell from his voice that he was curious and excited,” she told The Sun.
In order to train her body to release milk, The Sun reports Mulford and Leeson took part in dry-feeding and pumping her breasts every two hours. Mulford quit her job as a bartender to focus on her new relationship and said that she feels a real connection with Leeson while they’re taking part in this new ritual.
“I’ll never say never, but I love the time we spend nursing alone. It’s our time away from the rest of the world and I look forward to every feed,” she told The Sun. Mulford added that she is proud of their relationship, but doesn’t plan to breastfeed in public because it is "very private to me.”
