A woman walking on a Brooklyn sidewalk was randomly sucker-punched in the face in the middle of the day by a stranger who then casually walked away, video shows.
The man approached the 27-year-old woman around 12:10 p.m. on March 9 as she crossed the street and hit the woman in the head, causing her to collapse, video released Wednesday by the New York Police Department shows.
The man then casually continued walking.
The victim drove herself to a nearby hospital and was treated for a head wound, WCBS reported.
Investigators released another video of the man Thursday. It shows him inside a nearby store shortly after the incident occurred.
Investigators are searching for a 5-foot-8-inch black man around 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with the word “Yale” written across it.
