A woman in San Jose, California, placed an order of wings for lunch and got thousands of dollars in cash instead.

KGO-TV reported that Selena Avalos, a manager at a cellphone store, ordered from a nearby Domino's and when her food arrived, there were not wings, but wads of cash inside the container.

The total was nearly $5,000.

"I was like, I can't keep it. It's a crazy amount of money," Avalos told KGO-TV. "It's not like it's $20 you find, you know? It's almost $5,000."

"I'm a manager myself, so I do deposits," Avalos said. "So I assumed right away that it was their deposits."

Avalos said she immediately called the Domino's where she placed the order, but there was no answer.

"Wouldn't they be thinking, 'Where did that money go?'" Avalos said.

There was still no response three days later, so she reached out to KGO-TV for help, which contacted the Domino's corporate office and got Avalos in contact with the franchise owner.

As a reward, Domino's is offering Avalos free pizza for a year and her boss is giving her a week off of work -- with pay.
