On a community Facebook page a woman, identified by KPHO-TV as Sandi, wrote on Tuesday that she was shocked to find the reptile.

“(I) wanted to just throw the dryer away,” she said in response to a comment on the post.

Sandi told KPHO-TV that a repairman found the snake, dead and wrapped inside the dryer fan, after her dryer stopped working.

“I pushed the button (heard a) thump, thump (and) thought the belt came off,” Sandi said on Facebook.

She told KPHO-TV that she suspected the snake got in through the machine’s dryer vent.

She has since put a screen over the vent to keep other critters from finding ways into the appliance, the news station reported.
