Woman fatally shot at funeral reception for gunshot victim, police say

June 15, 2019A woman was fatally shot in the back during a funeral reception Thursday at a motorcycle club, police said.
Kierra Jones, 23, was shot in the back after someone drove by and fired into the crowd at 10:19 p.m., the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Jones was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, WMAQ reported. An autopsy Friday indicated she died from the gunshot and her death was ruled a homicide, the Sun-Times reported.
Jones was attending a funeral reception for a member of the motorcycle club who was shot about two weeks ago, the Sun-Times reported.
Police told the Chicago Tribune they are investigating the shooting.
